DAY 1 – Arrival in Arusha City

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro National Airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to Venus Premier Hotel in Arusha for dinner and your overnight stay. Settle into your accommodations and prepare to start your safari in the morning. If time allows, you can take a tour of the town and possibly dine in one of the local restaurants.

DAY 2 – Arusha – Tarangire National Park

At 8:30am you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and drive on tarmac road 120km to Tarangire National Park. After lunch you will go on an afternoon game drive in search of lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, python, zebra, oryx, impala and more. Over 450 species of birds have also been observed here. Late in the afternoon your driver will take you for dinner and your overnight stay at Eileen’s Trees Inn.

DAY 3 – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast you will drive to the famous Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival you will eat a picnic lunch and then continue on a game drive further into the heart of the park. Enjoy the wildlife in their natural environment and take as many pictures as you can! In the evening you will drive to dinner and your overnight at Serengeti Acacia Tented Camp.

DAY 4 – Serengeti National Park

You will spend another day on game drives in the Serengeti. With so many wildebeest, gazelles and zebras present it is no wonder the Serengeti is also home to 4,000 lions and 1,000 leopards. Apart from the Big Five, the Serengeti also boasts cheetah, jackal, hyena, serval, aardvark, pangolin, porcupine, crocodiles, giraffe, python, black mamba, spitting cobra, ostrich, martial eagle, lovebirds and vultures – just to name a few! Enjoy this supreme game viewing and then return to Serengeti Acacia Tented Camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

DAY 5 – Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Set off towards the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive with a picnic lunch in hand. The crater shelters close to 30.000 animals, including the Big Five. It is teeming with zebras, buffaloes, lions, wildebeest, warthogs, baboons, elephants, flamingos, ostriches, hippos, cheetahs and a small population of the rare black rhino. The beautiful colors and dancing clouds here make the crater almost surreal. Because of its natural beauty, the Ngorongoro Crater was chosen as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders.
We will return to Arusha by 5pm. Settle into your accommodations at the Venus Premier Hotel and get ready to catch your flight in the morning to Zanzibar.

DAY 6 – Arusha – Zanzibar

After breakfast, you will head to the Arusha airport for your flight to Zanzibar. This hotel is in Nungwi, a lovely fishing village in the north of Zanzibar, which offers one of the best beaches on the island.

You will visit a variety of interesting places like the House of Wonders, Darajani marketplace, Sultan’s Palace and the Slave Market. DAY 4 – Serengeti National Park

You will spend another day on game drives in the Serengeti. With so many wildebeest, gazelles and zebras present it is no wonder the Serengeti is also home to 4,000 lions and 1,000 leopards. Apart from the Big Five, the Serengeti also boasts cheetah, jackal, hyena, serval, aardvark, pangolin, porcupine, crocodiles, giraffe, python, black mamba, spitting cobra, ostrich, martial eagle, lovebirds and vultures – just to name a few! Enjoy this supreme game viewing and then return to Serengeti Acacia Tented Camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

DAY 5 – Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Set off towards the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive with a picnic lunch in hand. The crater shelters close to 30.000 animals, including the Big Five. It is teeming with zebras, buffaloes, lions, wildebeest, warthogs, baboons, elephants, flamingos, ostriches, hippos, cheetahs and a small population of the rare black rhino. The beautiful colors and dancing clouds here make the crater almost surreal. Because of its natural beauty, the Ngorongoro Crater was chosen as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders.
We will return to Arusha by 5pm. Settle into your accommodations at the Venus Premier Hotel and get ready to catch your flight in the morning to Zanzibar.

DAY 6 – Arusha – Zanzibar

After breakfast, you will head to the Arusha airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to Amaan Bungalow Beach Resort for dinner and your overnight stay. This hotel is in Nungwi, a lovely fishing village in the north of Zanzibar, which offers one of the best beaches on the island.

DAY 7 – Zanzibar

You can spend today at your leisure either relaxing or exploring. You may organize a Stone Town tour with our representative or the hotel, or choose to stay by the beach and occasionally engage in beach sports. All meals and your overnight stay will be at the Amaan Bungalow Beach Resort.

DAY 8 – Zanzibar

Today you will tour the historical heart of Zanzibar, Stone Town. It is a fascinating labyrinth of narrow streets and alleyways that are a joy to explore. Make sure to take time to discover the architectural gems, tasteful restaurants, churches, markets and gardens here. You will visit a variety of interesting places like the House of Wonders, Darajani marketplace, Sultan’s Palace and the Slave Market. The mix of Arab, Persian, Indian and European influences makes Stone Town absolutely unique. Return to the Amaan Bungalow Beach Resort for your overnight stay.

DAY 9 – Zanzibar – Arusha/Nairobi

The morning and early afternoon will be spent at your leisure relaxing and exploring. In the afternoon you will be transferred to Zanzibar Airport and fly to Dar es Salaam / Kilimanjaro or Arusha for your departure flight home.
